I had a late night and a quick sleep and a busy day ahead, but I went through my morning routine. One of my presently favorite worship albums was playing. It is usually background music that seeps into me without much attention or awareness. But a song I have listened to many times burrowed into me. It was as if I heard every breath of lyric, everyone intonation of music.

I don’t know what, if any, effect it will have on you, but I pray it interrupts and resets your day.

Be still my heart and know

I won’t be afraid

Be still and trust

What the Lord has said is done

Find rest, don’t strive

Watch as faith and grace align
