photo-1494426383302-7b9d36a1a028I was working offsite and began to help seal a bunch of envelopes. I’m thankful for the variety of self-seal envelopes now available, but I quickly realized these would be a bit challenging. A narrow flap needed to be lifted up then the top flap could be pressed over it to seal the envelope. Only the narrow flap was often stuck to the envelope. I struggled with a few then decided to find a tool that would help the process.

A letter opener. It had a pointed edge that easily slid under a corner and lifted the flap. I used a letter opener to close envelopes.

The irony was not lost on me.

Sometimes we use tools in creative ways. Why get stuck within our expectations?

God provides in many creative ways. He uses situations and people in ways I would never dream up, and I would miss the moments if I wasn’t attentive to him.

Pay attention today. The solution might be simpler and more accessible than you think.

  1. Case and Point! Just moments ago, I mean moments ago, I was led to contact someone directly on their site. It was a tad bit difficult because this person has some health issues that I couldn’t even begin to say “I understand” so I was struggling with what the Lord wanted me to say. Many times the words flow freely, but this message wasn’t the case. As I typed, God just took over and before I knew it, He was giving me a bit of poetry. I’ve tried this before but to no avail. But God was actually giving me words that were spiritually cohesive and to think, they even rhymed a bit. (God and I shared a smile because He knows) Well afterwards I emailed what He’d given me, as a point of reference, and as I sought a name for the email, He said, “God’s poetic INspiring Message”

To ADD, I then went back to my WP reader and see this message! WOW! “God provides in many creative ways. He uses situations and people in ways I would never dream up, and I would miss the moments if I wasn’t attentive to him.”

This is my “In all my ways acknowledge Him” moment! He ALWAYS gives us what we need, when we need it!

    Blessings!
