Each Monday on the Pure Purpose blog, I feature This Week’s 7, a simple list about an everyday topic, giving you ideas and encouragement. I recently enjoyed beautiful sunsets while on vacation. As I pondered what I’d do with remaining sunsets, I avoided thinking of a bucket list. Instead, I considered how the sunset can spur me to enjoy God’s creation in many ways. Perhaps you’ll catch a sunset this week. Perhaps seven.

1. Connect. God created you for relationships…with him and others around you.
2. Worship. You were created to glorify God. How will you praise him today?
3. Reflect. How is God pouring into you, investing in you, speaking with you? How well are you listening?
4. Study. What does God’s Word say about his creation? How actively are you seeking truth?
5. Share. Who is sitting beside you? How authentically are you sharing yourself?
6. Teach. How authentically are you sharing God?
7. Seek. Are you a spectator? Do you expect others to feed and serve you? How active is your faith?

As the sun lowers each evening this week, ask God to reveal the aspects of your day and life that are (and aren’t) reflecting his will and purpose for you.
