Lord, I seek refuge in You;
let me never be disgraced.
Save me by Your righteousness.
Listen closely to me; rescue me quickly.
Be a rock of refuge for me,
a mountain fortress to save me.
For You are my rock and my fortress;
You lead and guide me
because of Your name. (Psalm 31:1-3)
What do you feel most exposed to right now? What threatens you and drives you to take refuge?
How do you respond when under threat? Are you more likely to hide and wait it out or move forward with boldness or caution despite the threat?
Today’s Challenge: Pay attention, and choose well today. Notice what and who you try to avoid. Notice the habits you’ve created to deal with the routine conflicts and threats you have. Choose not what is is most comfortable but what is best for each situation. Trust God’s courage and guidance.
