Now it is not an enemy who insults me—
otherwise I could bear it;
it is not a foe who rises up against me—
otherwise I could hide from him.
But it is you, a man who is my peer,
my companion and good friend!
We used to have close fellowship;
we walked with the crowd into the house of God.
(Psalm 55:12-14)

When have you been offended, rejected, or attacked by a friend? What have you done that might be seen as offense, rejection, or attack? How can you heal the relationship or make peace with the repercussions?

Today’s Challenge: Encourage someone today who you struggle to get along with, who annoys or offends you. Be kind. Be forgiving. Be generous.
