“When they arrive there, they will remove all its detestable things and practices from it. And I will give them one heart and put a new spirit within them; I will remove their heart of stone from their bodies and give them a heart of flesh, so they may follow My statutes, keep My ordinances, and practice them. Then they will be My people, and I will be their God. But as for those whose hearts pursue their desire for detestable things and practices, I will bring their actions down on their own heads.” This is the declaration of the Lord God. (Ezekiel 11:18-21)

What “heart of stone” do you need removed in order to follow God better? What declaration of the Lord God do you struggle to pursue?

Today’s Challenge: Some choices are obvious, but you make lots of choices throughout the day that are so routine or seem so small that you might not notice. Pay attention today. Face each choice with a pure pursuit of God, not just assuming His preference but asking, waiting, and following.
