The Cymbals Finale

psalm-150The psalms are rich with authentic faith. They encompass who God is and how we struggle through our relationship with Him. They express the highs and lows of faith. They claim His promises and our doubts. They are raw and solid and inspiring. And they end with a bang, like a final crash of the cymbals!

Hallelujah!
Praise God in His sanctuary.
Praise Him in His mighty heavens.
Praise Him for His powerful acts;
praise Him for His abundant greatness.

Praise Him with trumpet blast;
praise Him with harp and lyre.
Praise Him with tambourine and dance;
praise Him with flute and strings.
Praise Him with resounding cymbals;
praise Him with clashing cymbals.

Let everything that breathes praise the Lord.
Hallelujah! (Psalm 150)

If you’ve never read through the psalms, begin today.
