  1. Hi, Susan!

It’s nice to connect with you from Twitter and now your blog. I just downloaded the sample of your first Bible study and am excited about reading it! You and I have very similar passions;however, I don’t have your years of experience. God has slowing but surely pushing out of the nest so that I can soar for Him to minister life to His daughters around the world!

May the Lord continue to bless the works of your hands and increase you more and more, you and your children! Amen!!!

    1. It’s fantastic to connect with you, Yvonne! I pray you’ll be blessed by Pure Purpose. Pure Emotion will release in June (I’ll have a free download of it available as well for those who want to sample it.) I look forward to getting to know you better and encouraging you in any way I can!

    2. Thank you Yvonne. I appreciate your encouragement. Please know I’ve learned many lessons “the hard way”…and continue to learn more, but when I rely on God, even when the lesson isn’t easy, if I’m trusting and following God through it, in a sense, it’s actually “the easy way” :-). God is so good. He doesn’t say life is going to be easy, but he can ordain the difficult! May the Bible study be a blessing to you!

  2. Susan, I started subscribing to your blog some time back. It is very encouraging to me. Your style of writing is easy to understand and, because of that, it’s easier to absorb. Thank you so much for sharing your love of and for God through this site. I wanted you to know that I am adding you to my Christian blog, His Healing Word, so that my readers can also be encouraged by your posts. God bless you in the work you are doing for Him.

    1. Thank you for the encouraging feedback, Carolyn. When I write, I “chat” as if someone is sitting across a coffee shop table with me. What a blessing it would be to sit across a table from you and connect, but for now, we’ll share across the blog table :-). Blessings, and thanks for sharing!

  3. Hello Susan,

I just connected with Women’s Bible Cafe recently and so I am still navigating through the site…However, I am thrilled wtih what I have seen thus far. I will be adding you to my website- I feel your love for God coming through your words very strongly. I too am an author of Christian books, and I just opened a website with the sole purpose of connecting to Christians to fellowship with, and to chat with. I will be looking forward to reading more in Bible Cafe -and more of your blogs. God Bless you and may the Lord’s light continue to shine within you. Blessings and Peace, CD Swanson~

  4. Dear Susan,
Women’s Ministry is really taking off at my church, and we are looking for spiritual growth opportunities in our area. I see you are speaking in Maryville, IL later this year, and was wondering if this is an open event. We would love to hear and see you. We hosted a women’s conference a few years ago, and are looking into speakers for another conference.
    Blessings,
    Denise Downes

    1. Hi, Denise. I’d love to connect with you! Yes, the Maryville event is open to anyone. I’ll email you the contact information. I hope to see you there! I’m no sure where you are, but I’m only a little over an hour from Maryville, and I’m in the STL area often, so if you want to meet sometime this summer and get to know each other and dream about the future, email me at susanhlawrence@yahoo.com. Blessings!

    1. Hi, Leslie! Thanks for responding! The best way to connect through Facebook is on the Pure Purpose page. There should be a link on this site, or search for Pure Purpose on Facebook. See you there! And you can always private message me through there if you need something!
