Each Monday on the Pure Purpose blog, I feature This Week’s 7, a simple list about an everyday topic, giving you ideas and encouragement. This week’s list of travel items to pack isn’t exclusive, but it includes a few things I’ve found helpful to have when travelling – or wish someone else had!
- Deodorant, breath mints, and other items to help everyone be comfortable when in close quarters.
- Emery board. They’re good for more than just nails and will smooth many surfaces, break a hanging thread, or get something sticky off a surface.
- Facial wipes to clean the grime of travel…or a neglected restaurant table or airport seat.
- Paper. You don’t need to journal everything, but there are some funny things and important reminders you might want to jot down and remember later.
- Masking Tape. Temporarily fix something or remove lint from your clothes. Or, design a new purse if you have duct tape and get stuck in the airport for hours.
- Banana or nuts. The best on-the-go boost of sustained energy.
- Patience. Travel takes time. Be prepared.
