This Week’s 7 – Tips for Travel

Each Monday on the Pure Purpose blog, I feature This Week’s 7, a simple list about an everyday topic, giving you ideas and encouragement. This week’s list of travel items to pack isn’t exclusive, but it includes a few things I’ve found helpful to have when travelling – or wish someone else had!

  1. Deodorant, breath mints, and other items to help everyone be comfortable when in close quarters.
  2. Emery board. They’re good for more than just nails and will smooth many surfaces, break a hanging thread, or get something sticky off a surface.
  3. Facial wipes to clean the grime of travel…or a neglected restaurant table or airport seat.
  4. Paper. You don’t need to journal everything, but there are some funny things and important reminders you might want to jot down and remember later.
  5. Masking Tape. Temporarily fix something or remove lint from your clothes. Or, design a new purse if you have duct tape and get stuck in the airport for hours.
  6. Banana or nuts. The best on-the-go boost of sustained energy.
  7. Patience. Travel takes time. Be prepared.

What are “must-haves” when you travel? What’s one item you’ve discovered can be used creatively in a variety of ways when travelling?
