“My prayers for others may or may not change them. But prayers always change me.” (Craig Greschel)
We often pray selfishly. We want something. We might believe our motives are pure, but if we take a step back, we might recognize the odor of selfishness.
Ironically, it is when we pray selflessly that we change and grow the most. It is when we pray out of our relationship with God instead of our hope for an outcome that challenges and humbles us. It is when we pray with as much purity in our prayers as is possible that we find purpose.
