What God does in me is more important than what he does for me.
You might pray for specific results. You take your needs to him and suggest the best outcomes he could provide.
But what if you’re wrong? You can’t see all the details, possible influences, and opportunities. Why ask for results when you can ask for growth? Why ask for something tangible when you could be changed from the inside out?
We live in an outcome-based culture. Perhaps we assess outcomes in an upside down way. Perhaps we need to focus more on inside out. Today is a good day to empty yourself. It’s uncomfortable, but as you rely on God to fill and provide, you will begin to realize just how valuable God’s work within you is. Even when it’s uncomfortable or inconvenient.
