We define strength incorrectly at times, and when we do, we miss out. We don’t recognize the strength in others or the strength in ourselves. We misinterpret and miss opportunities.
Gentleness is one of the strongest qualities we can hone.
We think being gentle is being weak; if we’re gentle, people might take advantage of us. But gentleness, as God intends and defines, is infused with wisdom. When we choose gentleness and apply it in the right ways at the right times, the strength is immeasurable. Gentleness is strong enough to influence people and powerful enough to change us.
The results are often slow but purposeful and lasting.
Reconsider how you think of and approach gentleness. You will be stronger because of it.
