We can say we don’t deal with drama. We can say we don’t have time or energy for it. We can say we are walking away and distancing ourselves from it. But we cannot completely sterilize our lives from it. Because life has drama.
We often call drama something else—ups and downs, trials, seasons. But it’s all related, and whatever we call it, we have to deal with some of it. In fact, quite a lot of it. We can say we don’t deal with it, but that’s one way of dealing with it. That approach might sometimes help us escape something, might simply delay what we’re facing, or might absolutely backfire and implode.
How do you deal with drama? How do you define drama? Maybe it’s time to consider both, because defining and dealing well helps us focus on healthy living and healthy faith.
