Ice coated my driveway, but it was supposed to be warm that day. When I went outside late afternoon, all had melted except where my daughter’s car had been parked. It was a reminder that we have to be cautious about what we are not exposing.

Yet sometimes we cover something to protect it. It’s a shelter.

It’s important to determine if we need to protect or expose, not because of what we want but because of what’s wise.
