I paused last night. I prayed for many people I know who are facing challenges, discouragements, and uncertainties. I prayed in the midst of widespread divisiveness, disrespect, and impatience. I prayed for God to keep my mind, heart, and words in check, regardless of with whom I’m interacting.
As I prayed, I heard this song over and over, especially the words In Jesus’ Name. As the week begins, I want every word I speak or think filtered through God’s will. If I cannot say it in Jesus’ name, I shouldn’t speak it.
Will you join me?
At the very least, will you be still long enough to listen and soak in any truth and challenge God might give you through this song?
