We all have an “except,” but God doesn’t consider us disqualified.

For David did what was right in the Lord’s eyes, and he did not turn aside from anything He had commanded him all the days of his life, except in the matter of Uriah the Hittite. (1 Kings 15:5)

Some of our “except” lists are fairly extensive. God still doesn’t consider us disqualified. But knowing our “except” is important. Humility is important. Willingness to change is important. Trust to allow God to change us is essential.

No exceptions.
