I Live For…

photo-1487147264018-f937fba0c817How would you finish the sentence?

I live for…

  • weekends?
  • tacos?
  • Jesus?
  • adventures?
  • love?
  • free time?
  • comfort?
  • retirement?

But would you die for what you live for?

Often, we’re not willing to die for what we live for. We value something or someone – until we don’t, until the cost becomes too high.

Perhaps we need to be more careful with our deep, life-nourishing commitments. We need to be purposeful about our purpose.

And if you won’t die for it, is it important enough to live for?
