When I pray, instead of asking God for something specific to happen, I want to ask God to equip me to glorify him in whatever is to happen.
That’s not to say I don’t sometimes ask for specifics, but I have learned that most of the time, I need to differentiate between what I most want and what God will get the most glory from.
No matter what happens, no matter if I like it or not, whether I experience it as good or bad, I can choose to respond well.
Pray well.
Expect well.
Yield well.
Respond well.
Today.
