Kind-Hearted

The other side of kindness isn’t always meanness. Sometimes it is hard-heartedness.

Kindness keeps our hearts tender, and that invites vulnerabilities. When we let our hearts harden because we feel as if we have to be tough and rough in order to survive, it is harder to put ourselves in a vulnerable position to show compassion and kindness and uncomfortable situations. We can keep our hearts soft and still be wise in our vulnerability and authenticity.

Are you fostering a hardness of heart or keeping your heart soft? Be intentional. Know the costs of your choices. Change in order to grow—yourself, your faith, and your relationships.
