Summer Scriptures Series: Philippians 4


In any and all circumstances I have learned the secret of being content—whether well fed or hungry, whether in abundance or in need. I am able to do all things through Him who strengthens me. Still, you did well by sharing with me in my hardship. (Philippians 4:12-14)

In what circumstance do you need strength and contentment right now?

How can contentment change you even when your circumstance doesn’t change?

Today’s Challenge: Consider what your life would look like if you were content “in any and all circumstance.” Remember, contentment isn’t passivity. It’s a foundation on which to live and grow and change. As you struggle today, ask how choosing contentment can change you.
