I woke up to a wet world. I think it rained most the night, but it had stopped when I walked outside to feed my lab. I stepped off the patio into the grass. It looked fine, but the ground was squishy as I walked.
I didn’t have far to walk, and the short venture through the grass reminded to be aware of my foundation as I take steps throughout the day. If I’m not walking on solid ground, I can’t be as sure-footed.
We sometimes we get used to the shaky (or squishy) ground beneath us. We don’t realize how uncertain our steps are.
Be aware. Be assured. Take steps now that make your future steps more secure. Be sure your confidence is rooted in trustworthy truth.
